Rockville Centre Police Department
The Rockville Centre Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency for the Village of Rockville Centre, New York, United States, located on the South Shore of Long Island. Established in 1893, it currently has approximately 52 sworn officers and a total of 90 employees. The department responds to between 18,000 and 19,000 calls for service each year, making it the third-busiest out of the 23 local departments in Nassau County.[1]

Police headquarters is located at 34 Maple Avenue, Rockville Centre, New York.
The police commissioner is James Vafaedes. Former police commissioner Charles "Sweaty" Gennario retired on 31 March 2018.
