Robert Hernreich

Mr. Robert Hernreich, (born 1945), is a previous owner of the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association, the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball, the Sacramento Monarchs of the WNBA, the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League, and the Sacramento Knights of the World Indoor Soccer League. Except for the Kings, all of these teams won championships during his ownership. Presently, he is an owner and member of the Board of Directors of Swansea City AFC, the English Premier League soccer team located in Wales, UK.

Mr. Hernreich has been President of Remonov Capital, Inc. since August 1992, and Vice-President of Remonov & Company, Inc., since November 1996. Both are private investment firms. Hernreich graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 1967 with a BA and MBA.

From November 1983 through June 1996, Mr. Hernreich was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sigma Broadcasting Company, formerly Arkansas’ largest television and radio operator, and from January 1988 through September 1990, Mr. Hernreich was Chairman of U.S. Repeating Arms, maker of Winchester sporting firearms.

Mr. Hernreich has been a member of the Washington University in St. Louis Board of Trustees for over twenty-five years. While living in Vail, Colorado he was a member of the board of directors of The Vail Valley Foundation, SOS Outreach and Beaver Creek Vilar Center for the Arts. He was a founding member of the Vail Youth Foundation and Global Action, a non-profit NGO specializing in the mitigation of malnourishment.

Mr. Hernreich is also a former member of the boards of directors of K2, Inc., Ride, Inc. (which K2 acquired in October 1999), the Miss America Organization, and past-chairman of Colorado Parks and Outdoor Recreation.

Mr. Hernreich is retired and living in Paris.
