Road to Andalay is a 1964 Merrie Melodies animated short featuring Speedy Gonzales and Sylvester. It was released subcontractedly in different box dates of both 1963 and 1964 dates. It was also the final cartoon to co-star Speedy Gonzales and Sylvester (in terms of release order).

Plot

It's just another quiet day in mexico, in here Speedy Gonzales and Sylvester are doing their attics they like best, is chasing around outside until the view of the rock area, Sylvester does his annoying lines as Speedy Gonzales comes up to his old enemy Speedy scares Sylvester and forced him fall off the edge. As the landing result Sylvester is fine at the moment as Speedy passes by he asked him that he's okay, but as Sylvester tries to catch him, he missed the target. Sylvester has to find a way to catch Speedy Gonzales or he gives up hope as a normal cat.

In his latest attempt to capture Speedy Gonzales, Sylvester goes to the Pet Shop to get a secret weapon., so Sylvester uses a hunting bird, as the assistance of a falcon named Malcolm Falcon, all with disastrous results, either due to the bird's incompetence or aggressive nature., in another unsuccessful attempt to catch Speedy Gonzales, the fastest mouse in Mexico., Sylvester sees the falcon's face Malcolm is furious so he pecks on Sylvester's head several times then the cat puts the hood back on the falcon's head., Sylvester tells Malcolm to save it for Speedy, if he has anymore foolish shenanigans, he'll do something for Malcolm. As Speedy comes up to ask a question "Hello Pussycats, what you got in the bag?" Sylvester gives the mouse an answer to the question he have got a secret weapon, through by none other than Malcolm the Falcon., Sylvester tells the falcon to get Speedy Gonzales., As Malcolm Falcon follows Sylvester to get the fastest mouse Sylvester bumps in a cactus and for the breaking point Speedy goes to a rock while the falcon goes in, it hits the cat's head.

Meanwhile Sylvester tells Malcolm to remember to let go, then the cat pounds the falcons head., Speedy Gonzales is on top of the rock, Sylvester gives Malcolm a chance to turn things around., Malcolm follows Sylvester again the falcon did remember to let go, and he just did., But one problem for that matter he had forgot to grab Sylvester., then the cat falls.

As the result so far Speedy knows that Sylvester and Malcolm have been giving up so they don't make pussycats like they used to., But Speedy is wrong Malcolm charges for the mouse as the falcon tries to catch the mouse then he misses as he's not paying attention Malcolm runs over a plane., as the plane flies by it forcefully sucks the falcon in it., the falcon has covered with ashes and dusts, Sylvester noticed that Malcolm is coming in for a landing., Sylvester knows that the falcon to not to rest for the job the cat straights out the falcon, and Malcolm pecks on Sylvester's head again.

As Speedy Gonzales pops up he was surprised that Sylvester and Malcolm has plans to get the mouse. So Speedy Gonzales tells that's not nice to whisper front of people's faces. Sylvester pipes down to the mouse., Speedy tells the cat that he have got a very own secret, it's underneath his hat., As Sylvester tries guess what it is underneath of Speedy's hat the cat withdraws Malcolm, and Sylvester tells the falcon to get it., as Sylvester talks to himself the falcon returns with a little something for him, it's a stick of dynamite., After the explosive ending Malcolm really pecks on Sylvester's head again.

Sylvester tries to let not Malcolm to quit. He knows that Speedy Gonzales is the only mouse in mexico. So Speedy attempts to scares Sylvester and Malcolm then the mouse asked "Did I scare you?" then falcon tries to get the mouse again. As the falcon reaches for the mouse. Malcolm noticed that Speedy puts salt all over on the falcon's tail. Sylvester tells the falcon to get him., Speedy tells Sylvester "Your birdie friend can't catch me because I put salt on his tail." so the falcon questioned Sylveseter that it's never happened in his life., So Sylvester shows the falcon to put the salt on the cat's tail so it's unaffected. As Speedy knows the answer to the result So the falcon wiggles his tail then it comes off., then the cat's tail it wiggles and comes off., Speedy gives a funny look on the cat and the falcon's tail he watches them go back to town to get glue for the next one., as tremendous effort the salt forced puts on Speedy's tail as the same thing to Sylvester and Malcolm it wiggles and comes off., As the two faithful catchers go back to town to get glue Speedy follows them comes to get glue for him "Amigos, wait, wait, save some for those glues from me." and fades out.
