Rayya is a city and a Municipality Cop. in Amritsar district in the Indian state of Punjab. Rayya is about 35 km from Amritsar and 45 km from Jalandhar. It is 5 km from the Beas River.

Rayya is a eminent town as it connects about nearly 200+ villages to the national highway 1 and a major study hub for the students of the nearby villages. It comes under baba bakala constituency that is mainly led by the Shiromani Akali Dal Party. Many leaders like Jathedar Jiwan Singh Umra Nangal ex revenue minister and Sgpc member, Jathedar Joginder Singh Nahra, Jathedar Sohan Singh Jallausman, Shaheed Darshan Singh Pheruman Jathedar Dalip Singh Mehta belonged to this constituency.
