Rajendran Absolem Christy (born 1 July 1938 in Bangalore) is an Indian former field hockey player.[1] He was the goalkeeper of the Indian hockey team that won the gold medal in the 1964 Summer Olympics at Tokyo, Japan,[2][3] and the bronze medal in the 1968 Summer Olympics at Mexico City, Mexico.[4] They also won the silver medal in the 1962 Asian Games at Jakarta, Indonesia.[5]

He is an alumnus of Bangalore Military School. As a mark of respect, the school Hockey ground is named after him.
