Md. Rahamat Ali (মোঃ রহমত আলী) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and the incumbent Member of Parliament from Gazipur-3.
Early life
Ali was born on 16 September 1945. He has masters in art and a law degree.[1]
Career
Ali was elected to Parliament from Gazipur-3 in 2008 as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate and was re-elected in 2014.[2][3] He is the chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives.[4]
