Rahara, Karnal

Rahara is a village situated in Assandh Tehsil of Karnal District in the state of Haryana. It is 10 km from Assandh Tehsil. The village is known for second largest farming land in district karnal.So major occupation of villager's is agriculture. Assandh block has a total of 54 villages.People of different caste lived in Rahara .Ror, Rajput and Brahman are gernal caste.Total population of village is near about 30000 and calculated votes are around 6500. People of the village are quite spiritual and there are 10-11 temple in the village.Out of all these temples, Nakhi Baba temple is famous and center of attraction and faith.It is situated 2 km away from village and every Sunday people goes there to worship.A CowHouse/GonuShala is also there.
