The Pyramid (Antarctica)

The Pyramid (78°21′00″S 163°30′00″E / 78.35000°S 163.50000°E / -78.35000; 163.50000Coordinates: 78°21′00″S 163°30′00″E / 78.35000°S 163.50000°E / -78.35000; 163.50000) is a small but distinctive peak just south of Pyramid Trough, at the west side of the Koettlitz Glacier. The descriptive name appears to have been first used by the British Antarctic Expedition of 1910-13.[1]
