Prince Edward is an area in northern Kowloon, Hong Kong. Within the area, there are various kinds of buildings, especially malls and residential buildings. Prince Edward is located at the edge of the core Kowloon district and shopping mecca. It is adjacent to the Prince Edward Station of the MTR rapid transit system, which is a cross-platform interchange station of the Tsuen Wan Line and Kwun Tong Line. There station is usually crowded and packed with lots of people.

Location

Prince Edward is located at the north of Mong Kok, administratively under the Yau Tsim Mong District.

History

It was named after the namesake road. It contains the northern end of Nathan Road. Strictly speaking it is not an area on its own, but the northern part of Mong Kok. Mong Kok Police Station is right outside the MTR station.

Transport

The area is served by the Prince Edward Station of the MTR rapid transit system, on the Tsuen Wan Line and on the Kwun Tong Line.
