Pragasapuram is a subvillage situated adjascent to Nazareth village in the Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu, India. Nazareth is contiguous with Pragasapuram. The Tirunelveli-Tiruchendur Railway Line divides the houses of Pragasapuram and Nazareth.Residences of Nazareth,Pragasapuram and Mukuperi are contiguously located.Pragasapuam is included under Nazareth Village for Revenue and Land administration.But for postal services it is included with Mukuperi Post Office.Pragasapuram and Mukuperi are on the norther border of Therikaadu and Nazareth is at the northwestern border.This village is surrounded by trees, lakes and paddy fields.

Festival
The RC church annual feast that falls on August 6 to August 15 every year. It is the famous festival. All the peoples from Nazareth, Mukuperi and from surrounding are celebrate the St.Mary's festival. And also they gives food (Samabanthi) for all people thrice the year. The CSI church gives Samabanthi once the year during their Church dedication remembrance ceremony.The ERS and SDA churches also celebrate the yearly dedication festival with free food with rice,limb curry and vegetables(called ASANAM).The ERS Church follows mostly Old Testament of The Bible with Saturday Sabbath and Jewish tradition including Passover.
