Ponnal is a village in Rangareddy district in the Telangana state of India. It falls under Shamirpet mandal. This village is 23 km away from Secunderabad. It is 2 km away from Outer Ring Road. The village is located 6 km away from Shamirpet and is covered with green trees around. A famous GANDI CHITTARAMMA TEMPLE is located in the forests of Ponnal village. People from different areas of Telangana state worship Goddess Chittaramma & Peddamma. Chittaramma Jathara is held every year in the month of January or February. As the Temple is located in a green forest covered with trees and mountains, it would be suggested to visit this Temple.
