Polity is a publisher in the social sciences and humanities. Established in 1984, its editorial offices are located in Cambridge in the UK; it also has offices in Oxford, UK, and in Boston, USA. Polity has developed into one of the leading publishing houses in the social sciences and the arts. It is especially strong in the areas of sociology, politics and social theory.
