The Vieillot's black weaver (Ploceus nigerrimus) is a species of bird in the Ploceidae family. It is named after the French ornithologist Louis Jean Pierre Vieillot.[2]
Range and habitat
It is found in Angola, Benin, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, DRC, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, and Uganda. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry forests.
