The Pilana Raja Maha Vihara or Pilana Temple is a Buddhist temple in Galle, Sri Lanka. The Chief Incumbent (Chief Priest) is Meepe Wagira Thera. The temple is well known in the southern part of the island for its historical Perahera festival.

The Pilana Raja Maha Vihara is in Galle district, near the Galle – Akuressa/Deniyaaya main road (A17), about 7 miles from Galle district. The temple is situated on a small mountain surrounded by a paddy field, and will be easily visible to anyone who travels along the Galle – Akuressa road.
