Philosophy & Rhetoric is a peer-reviewed academic journal covering the relationship between philosophy and rhetoric. The journal was established in 1968 by Henry Johnstone Jr., who served as its editor-in-chief until 1998. The editorship then passed to a group of scholars until 2003 when the current editor took over. The journal is published quarterly by the Penn State University Press.
