Perimeter fence
Demarcation of a perimeter, when the protection of assets, personnel or buildings is required; is normally completed by the introduction of a perimeter fence system. The level of protection offered varies to the threat level to the perimeter and the different types of perimeter fencing includes:
- Timber Fencing
- Palisade Fencing
- Welded Wire Mesh Fencing
- Chain Link Fencing
- Rolled Mesh Fencing
- Metal Railings
Since the 00s Welded Wire Mesh Fencing has become one of the most specified types of perimeter fence around the world. It is featured on Commercial Projects,[1] Industrial applications,[2] Sports,[3] Schools[4] and Airports.[5]
Domestic and Residential projects have since the 1990s featured timber fencing as the perimeter to houses and gardens or ornamental metal railings.
