The Penn State Nittany Lions women's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of Pennsylvania State University. The team is a member of the Big Ten Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

Stadium

The Nittany Lions play at Jeffrey Field, a 5,000-seater stadium that opened in 1972.[2] The stadium was dedicated to Bill Jeffrey, who was the men's soccer team's head coach from 1926 until 1952.[2] Built for the soccer and lacrosse teams, Jeffrey Field had an initial seating capacity of 2,500, but was later increased to 3,000 in 1978. The stadium's capacity was increased again in 2003 to meet rising ticket needs.[2]
