Paulo "Paulão" Prestes (born February 15, 1988 in Monte Aprazível, São Paulo[1]) is a Brazilian professional basketball player who last played for Paulistano/Unimed of the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB).[2] Grown at Unicaja farm teams, after playing in 2012 for BC Pieno žvaigždės,[3] he signed with CB Gran Canaria.
Prestes was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the 2010 NBA draft. His rights were retained by Minnesota since then.
