Paul Longden (born 28 September 1962) is an English former footballer who played in the Football League for Barnsley and Scunthorpe United. Paul is scunthorpes second longest serving player, making 455 appearances for the club as a fullback mostly in the role of leftback, his hard approach to the game was noticed by many, described by Graham Alexander as the 'hardest footballer, who's tough as nails'
