Party: A Venkat Prabhu Hangover is an Indian comedy film written and directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by T. Siva under his production banner Amma Creations.[1][2][3]

After the release of his seventh directorial and debut production venture, it was announced that director Venkat Prabhu will do a film for Amma Creations banner of T.Siva which is celebrating its 25th year in film industry.[4]

Production

Party, the multi-starrer film is entirely filmed in Fiji islands.[5][6] Director Venkat Prabhu decided to pick Premgi Amaren to direct music replacing his usual choice, Yuvan Shankar Raja.[7][8] In an interview, Chandran added that, the movie's shooting is like going on an excursion and the director is handling the big star cast with absolute ease.[9] [10] Rajesh Yadav is handling cinematography and Praveen KL was roped in as the editor for this movie.[11] Stunt Silva signed in as stunt choreographer for this movie.[12]. A promotional teaser was released on 13 December 2017, and was followed by two more that introduced the cast.[13] Predominantly shot in Fiji, the 94 second teaser shows us great locales of island. It also has all the fun elements expected in a Venkat Prabhu film along with some excellent stunts and racy cuts.[14]

Music

Unlike Prabhu's previous projects, it transpired that Premgi Amaren will both score and compose musical elements, in Yuvan's stead. A single track primarily voiced by Suriya & Karthi was launched on 2 July 2018. Music rights were acquired by Muzik 247.
