History
The company was established by a group of MIPT students in 1994. A separate mobile division, called the Mobility Division, was formed in 1995. The German office opened in 1998, the Swiss office in 2000.
In 2004, the company started working with Fujitsu-Siemens on its handheld PCs Russian localization.[2] Next year, the company expanded the product line of office and gaming applications for Symbian OS and received the "Developer of the Year" award in the Handango Champion Awards 2005.[3]
In 2011, PCMag recognized the company’s flagship solution Paragon Hard Disk Manager as the best hard drive management program. Paragon Software Group also won Global Telecoms Business Innovation Award 2011 for their mobile solution.[4]
The co-founder and CEO of Paragon Software Group is Konstantin Komarov.

In 2017, the company joined Renesas R-Car Consortium to support automotive chipmakers in delivering next-generation data storage for future vehicles.
By embedding Paragon File System Link into automotive infotainment systems, OEMs will enable car owners to connect USB devices, SD Cards, digital assistants, or other external storage media directly to IVI systems, so that users can access audio and video recordings, regardless of the file format.
Technologies are also used in routers and gateways, smart TVs and STBs, smartphones, cameras, NAS devices, and more.

More than 350 electronic dictionaries, encyclopedias and phrase books developed in conjunction with Duden, Langenscheidt, Oxford UP, PONS/Klett, Le Robert, VOX, and other world’s leading publishing houses.
- PenReader
A handwriting recognition technology that immediately converts handwriting on a touch-screen into text. Supports 17 languages. The technology is used in a number of prominent iOS and Android applications, such as Evernote, Handwriting Dato and Handwrite Note Free, MyScript Calculator.
