Pakhanpura

Pakhanpura is a village in Bhawarkol block, Tehsil- Mohammadabad District, Ghazipur state, Uttar Pradesh, India. also known as Fakhanpura, the village is 29km from Ghazipur and 25 Km from Buxer. The village has one post office, a union bank of India, with atm facility. The population of the village is approximately 15000-20000 the village is dominated by muslims ( Mainly Shaiks) ,and having other religious persons with 10 Mauza, having 5 Mosque, One Eidgah, 5 Mazar-e-sharif, Three temples. The aforesaid village is created with the blessings of Baba Shaik Farid.

Most of the peoples are in disciplinary forces, and the village having one added Madarsa. along with other things are also available.

In kargil war 10 persons participated .shaheed Ishtique Khan died on 3 July 1999 at tiger hill Kargil.
