Oscar Bruzon Barreras (Spain; born 29 May 1977), known as Oscar Bruzon is a Spanish professional football manager and former football player. Bruzon is an experienced Head coach and an UEFA Pro licence holder.
Bruzón played his professional football mainly in the 2nd Division of Spanish football, the Segunda División, with Celta de Vigo, Universidad de Las Palmas CF, and Pontevedra.[1]
Playing career
During his career as a player, he has played for Celta de Vigo, Pontevedra CF and U.D. Las Palmas
Coaching career
Bruzon is one of the best ambassadors of the Spain coaching guild abroad, especially in Asia. He is well known for developing local players from the grass root system of his club. He has contributed in produced National Team players at Spain, India and Maldives.
He is the first Spanish coach who has managed Clubs in India both in the I-League and the Indian Superleague (ISL). He had overcome Club objectives in all the projects he have worked for. His teams are characterized for the good treatment of the ball, high intensity and an optimal working ratio.
He won in his first season at Maldives (current) all the Major trophies played at the country. Bruzon is a highly qualified and ambitious professional football coach with over 12 years experience coaching across the world with extensive stints in Europe and Asia, gained tremendous experience with more than 100 official games as a head coach in premier leagues, participated in international competitions such as AFC Cup and as a player at the UEFA INTERTOTO.
He has openly consider his coaching mentor Fernando Vazquez.

Early career: 2007–2012
After retiring from football Bruzón became the under-16 coach for Areosa CF where he stayed from 2007 to 2009.[1] He then became the under-14 coach of Celta de Vigo which is also a club that Bruzon had played for.[1]
Sporting Goa
On 3 December 2012 Bruzon signed for Sporting Clube de Goa in the Indian I-League.[2]
In December 2014, Bruzon terminated his contract with the club in a mutual agreement, with him citing unresolved technical differences.[3]
Mumbai City
On 15 April 2015 it was announced that Bruzón had signed with Indian Super League side Mumbai City FC as an assistant coach.[4]
