The Oakton Virginia Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the regional center for Mormon congregations in the Oakton, Virginia, area and surrounding towns and cities in northern Virginia.
History of the Oakton Virginia Stake
There are nine wards (congregations) in the Oakton VA Stake, each led by a bishop. The bishops work under the direction of the stake presidency. President Scott Wheatley currently serves as the president of the stake. Ken Lee and Richard Hatch are counselors. Together the three form the stake presidency.
