Nosphidia is a monotypic genus of moths in the Carposinidae family.[1] It contains the single species Nosphidia paradoxa, which is found in Sri Lanka.[2]

Description

Wingspan of male is 19 mm. Haustellum long and weak. Head silvery-white. Eye very large. Antenna glossy light brown. Palpi long and glossy white. Thorax pale grayish. Abdomen creamy-white, glossy. Fore wing oblong and pointed. Fore wing glossy white. Markings of fore wings gray-fuscous with bronze gloss. Basal patch light grayish. Costa with four pale fuscous spots. Cilia creamy. Hind wings whitish. Cilia white.[3]
