Nikolay Penchev (born 22 May 1992) is a Bulgarian volleyball player, a member of Bulgaria men's national volleyball team and Polish club PGE Skra Bełchatów, a participant of the Olympic Games London 2012, Polish Champion (2015, 2018).

Personal life

Nikolay Penchev was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. His father is a former volleyball player. He has three brothers - older Chavdar (born 1987) and younger twin brothers, Chono and Rozalin (born 11 December 1994), who are also volleyball players. Chono is setter, Rozalin plays as opposite or outside hitter.[1]

Career

Clubs

Season 2012/2013 spent in Polish club Effector Kielce. In 2013 moved to club of Polish Champion 2013 - Asseco Resovia Rzeszów and signed two-year contract.[2] In his first season won Polish SuperCup2013 and silver medal of Polish Championship after losing matches with PGE Skra Bełchatów. In April 2015 he achieved with Asseco Resovia Rzeszów title of Polish Champion 2015.[3] In April 2015 signed new one-year contract with Polish club.[4]

In May 2016 Penchev signed one-year contract with another top Polish club PGE Skra Bełchatów.[5]
