The Newspaper Research Journal is a quarterly, peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes original social scientific articles about all aspects of the global newspaper industry, including journalism. The editor-in-chief is Dane S. Claussen, visiting professor at Shanghai International Studies University, and formerly the James Pedas Professor of Media, Commmunication & Public Relations at Thiel College. The journal is published by the Newspaper and Online News Division of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication in association with Sage Publications.
