The Kabul Times

The Kabul Times is a state-run English language printed newspaper in Afghanistan, initially established on February 27, 1962. As of 2017 it is in daily circulation.

Following the 1978 coup, the Kabul Times was renamed Kabul New Times, and began to print Communist rhetoric that was reminiscent of days during the Cold War and was highly confrontative to the Western culture.

The paper resumed publication in March 2002 after the Taliban's fall.[1]
