Neostygarctus is a genus of tardigrades, in the family Stygarctus. It was named described by Grimaldi de Zio, D'Addabbo Gallo and Morone De Lucia in 1982. They are mainly founded in the Mediterranean Sea.

Its etymology is Greek meaning the newer Stygarctus species.
