Neeraj Bora (born 1967) is an Indian politician and a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. He is the son of the former UP legislator Late Mr D.P. Bora. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and was elected into the legislative assembly in the 2017 UP elections from the Lucknow North constituency by defeating Prof. Abhishek Misra of Samajwadi Party.

Life

Neeraj was born in the Shohratgarh tehsil of Siddharthnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. He was always greatly influenced by his father and wanted to work in the social sector from a very early age. After completing his schooling from one of the most prominent schools of Lucknow, he went on to study medicine at Dr B.R. Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore. Neeraj is married to Bindu Bora and has three children, a son and two daughters. In the past, he has also been elected as the Multiple Council Chairman of Lions Clubs International for North India, and the president of the Lucknow branch of Indian Medical Association. He is also the senior vice-president of the All India Vaish Federation of U.P.

He is also the establisher of Sewa Hospital and Bora Institute of Allied Health Sciences.
