The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology, Kurukshetra (NIEITK) is a design school in Umri, Kurukshetra, India. The Institute started functioning on 15 November 2016.

It is currently being run in its transit campus at Government Polytechnic building, Umri, Kurukshetra, Haryana. The institute functions as an autonomous scientific society under the administrative control of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of the Government of India.

History

The foundation stone for the institute was laid in September 2015. The class of NIEITK were shifted out en-block to mark the beginning of at its Govt. Polytechnic, Umri, Kurukshetra campus in new building.

Courses offered

The institute offers three main courses all of which follow the two semester per year pattern.

Graduate Diploma Programme in Electronics (GDPE)

This 4-year course is offered in three specialization by NIEIT kurukshetra. This course has a total of 60 seats.
