- The Institute of Byzantine Research (IBR)
- The Institute of Greek and Roman Antiquity (KERA)
- The Institute of Biological Research and Biotechnology (IBRB)
- The Institute of Theoretical and Physical Chemistry (TPCI)
- The Institute of Organic and Pharmaceutical Chemistry (IOPC)
Apart from these six Institutes the following national scientific facilities are operated by the NHRF. These are:
- National Documentation Centre (EKT)
- The Liaison Office and
- The International Relations Office
