Narrative Consumption Theory

Overview

Narrative consumption theory is Eiji Ōtsuka's book and concept he advocated. In 1989, it was published as a book from shinyousha. It's "generally accepted text Narrative consumption theory" from Kadokawa library in 2001. A revise does, and is published.

Eiji Otsuka pointed out that Bikkuriman sealing and the "big story" in the back through that, not itself gives goods of a Sylvanian Families as an example, and that spends goods for those (worldview and something equivalent to setting) are consumed by "Narrative consumption theory" and called such consumption form which can be seen in 1980 's mainly Narrative consumption. Because it's ambiguous, it's paraphrased into worldview consumption to use a word and phrase as "story" in meaning as "big story (worldview and setting)" here.
