Nanluoguxiang (simplified Chinese: 南锣鼓巷站; traditional Chinese: 南鑼鼓巷站; pinyin: Nánluógǔxiàng Zhàn) is a station on Line 6 and Line 8 of the Beijing Subway in central Beijing.[1] The station opened on December 30, 2012 to Line 6 service, and to Line 8 service in December 2013.[2] It is located near to the south entrance of the Nanluoguxiang alley, after which it is named. It will also become a transfer station for the Planned Phase 2 of Line 3 in the future.[3]

The internal layout of the station is complex, because the Line 6 platforms are on top of each other instead of side by side. The station can be congested because of large numbers of tourists. Exit E, the nearest to Nanluoguxiang alley itself, is frequently closed because of this.

Exits

There are four exits. On the south side of Di'anmen Dong Dajie are Exits A (southwest) and B (southeast). These are close to Line 6. On the north side of the road are Exits E (northwest) and F (northeast). These are close to Line 8.
