Nandha Durairaj is an Indian film actor, who primarily works in Tamil films. He made his debut in Mounam Pesiyadhe (2002) and later appeared in acclaimed films, including Eeram (2009).[2]
Biography
Nandaa Durairaj was born as Govind Durairaj in Coimbatore to Durairaj and Rani. He has a younger brother Karthik and he is also the grandson of former minister M. Kannappan. He was married to Vidyaroopa at Tirumala Temple.
Career
He was spotted by producer S. Thanu during his family function. In 1998, he joined the Film Institute in Chennai and obtained a diploma in acting after a one-year course. It was only at the Punnagai poove film launch that Nandhaa was spotted by film director Ameer. Director Ameer was looking for a cheerful and well built hero to play the co-role with Suriya. Nandhaa immediately fit the criteria and was therefore selected for the role."Punnagai Poove" released immediately after "mounam pesiyadhe" and both were hits. His movie was Eeram was huge hit produced by acclaimed director Shankar.It was also released in telegu titled "Vaishali" released by dil Raju. Following the success of eeram director Shankar again casted him in his production for the second time "Anandhapurathu Veedu" directed by naga. Followed by it producer kalpathi s aghoram casted him in "vellore mavattam" which he played a cop and then starred alongside jiiva in "vandhan vendran" which turned out to be blockbusters.In 2018 again after mounam pesiyade he starred alongside Suriya in "Thaana send Kootam" directed by Vignesh shiva for studio green productions which turned out to be a blockbuster in Tamil and in telegu titled "gang".He has also been starred in a web series produced by Ekta Kapoor for Balaji teleflims which was Tamil s first web series directed by Kaushik.
