NZXT is an American computer hardware manufacturer based in Los Angeles, California. The company is best known for being a major manufacturer of computer cases, components, and accessories for the PC gaming market.[1]
The name NZXT is a corruption of the word "next" in uppercase.
History
NZXT was founded in 2004 by Johnny Hou. The company's first product was the NZXT Guardian, which was a case featuring a plastic front bezel resembling Transformers toys and lighting effects.[2] Over time, they gradually expanded to other genres of computer hardware,[3] including computer power supplies,[4] computer cooling, and streaming devices.[5][6]
Products
NZXT sells computer cases, power supplies, cooling products, and LED lighting; marketed towards PC gamers. While their products are designed in Los Angeles, the large-scale manufacturing takes place in plants in China and Taiwan.
BLD
In 2017, NZXT launched a computer building service called BLD.[7] The service asks about what games would be played on it, budget constraints, and customization options before generating a PC build. The build is sold pre-assembled.
