The Nashik District Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj Maratha Vidya prasarak Samaj's Karmaveer Baburao Ganpatrao Thakare College of Engineering is an Engineering school. It was established in 1999 on 7.5 acres in the heart of Nashik city.

Facilities

The College is affiliated to Pune University.[1] The College has well equipped laboratories, a workshop and a hostel. Every department has separate computational facilities along with LAN, internet and necessary software.[2]

The college employs experienced, qualified faculties from industry and academic backgrounds. The laboratories are well equipped and up-to-date. The students have access to computers and internet facilities.[2]

The college has a Library with wide range of management literature, an extensive collection of magazines and international business journals. College is a part of the 2005 State Government Award Institute.

Location

The College is located at about 2.5 km from central Bus stand off Ganagapur Road/ 1 km straight from Vihar hotel, It occupies 10 acres of land within the Udoji Maratha Boarding compound.

Accreditation

The College was approved by AICTE in letter No.740:89-34(F)/ET/98 dated 24-7-98.

This was approved by the Government of Maharashtra, Directorate of Technical Education in January 1999 and affiliated to University of Pune since July 1999.
