The sixth season of My Three Sons premiered on September 16, 1965 and ended on April 28, 1966. This was the first season that the show was originally aired on CBS after the first five seasons were televised on ABC.
The show moved from ABC to CBS for seasons six through twelve.
All episodes from the sixth season onwards are now being filmed in color.
Don Grady has his own opening credits title card "And Don Grady as Robbie" and Stanley and Barry Livingston share one.
