Yevheniy Volodymyrovych Murayev (Ukrainian: Євгеній Володимирович Мураєв, born December 2, 1976 in Zmiiv) is an Ukrainian politician and media owner.

Murayev has been a deputy of the Kharkiv Oblast Council (two convocations), deputy of the Ukrainian parliament VII convocation and VIII convocation[1] (member of the Parliamentary Committee on Tax and Customs Policy). He is a former member of Party of Regions, Opposition Bloc[2] and former chairman of the political council of the For Life (Za zhyttia) party. In September 2018 he left Za zhyttia[3] and (5 days later) created the new political party Ours (Nashi).[4][5]

Murayev is 100% owner of the Ukrainian TV channel News One.[5]

Family, education and work

Yevheniy Murayev was born into a family of employees. Father Volodymyr Kuzmich was the general director of the "Rapid" CJSC. Mother Olha Oleksiyivna – associate professor of the department of chemistry in Kharkiv National University. He graduated from Physics and Mathematics Lyceum # 27 in Kharkiv.
