Mulgrew Nunatak
Mulgrew Nunatak (79°38′S 157°56′E / 79.633°S 157.933°ECoordinates: 79°38′S 157°56′E / 79.633°S 157.933°E) is a prominent nunatak, 1,600 m, standing four nautical miles (7 km) east of Tentacle Ridge in the Cook Mountains. Mapped by the Darwin Glacier Party of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1956–58) and named for Peter D. Mulgrew, the chief radio operator at Scott Base, who accompanied Sir Edmund Hillary to the South Pole.
