Moussa Hojeij is a Lebanese football player and manager, born on August 6, 1974. He is the manager at Tripoli SC football club. He was the best player in the Al-Manar TV football festival several times, and was captain of the national team. Hojeij won more than 50 caps for Lebanon. His nicknames include King Moussa and Maestro. Hojeij was the first captain to hold the Lebanese Championship cup for Nejmeh SC after the civil war in 2000. In 2005, Al-Nejmeh released the player, where he signed with Al-Mabarrah. In 2008 Houjeij signed for Lebanese Second Division club Al Khayoul, and in summer of 2009 he signed with Shabab Al-Sahel. In August 2011 Al-Nejmeh fans celebrated the return of Hojeij as a coach and a player; he scored at his first season match against Al-Mabbarah. He's also an analyst for Lebanese national team matches on Al Jazeera Sports. Houjeij is considered as one of the best Lebanese players of all time.

International career

Hojeij equalised in the 77th minute against Iraq at the 2000 AFC Asian Cup to bring the score to 2–2. The game was played at the Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium.
