'Mohammed Moftahh Rajab Elfitory '' known as El fitory Arabic محمد الفيتوري, is a writer, poet, playwright, of Sudanese and Libyan ancestry.

Early life

Alfituri is a Sudanese poet from AlMasaleet tribe of Darfur. Alfituri was born in AlGineina in Western Darfur in 1936.

Career

Alfituri worked as an editor for many Sudanese and Egyptian newspapers. Alfituri was appointed as an expert in the Arab League (1968–1970), and also as cultural consultant for the Libyan Embassy in Italy, consultant and ambassador for the Libyan Embassy in Lebanon, and also a consultant for the Libyan embassy in Morocco. He is a member of the Union of Arab Writers.
