Seyid Mohammad Ali Qazi Tabatabaei (Persian: سید محمدعلی قاضی طباطبایی, was born 1914 in Tabriz, East Azerbaijan — died 1979 in Tabriz, East Azerbaijan) was an Iranian politician, Shiite cleric, first imam Jumu'ah for Tabriz and Representative of the Supreme Leader in East Azerbaijan less than four mounths in the period activity Muslim People's Republic Party in Tabriz.[1] He was assassinated by People's Mujahedin of Iran, when praying in Tabriz.[2] Qazi Tabatabaei in the Iranian political literature named the first martyr of mihrab.[3]
