Seán Ó Cualáin(Irish pronunciation: [])[2] is an IFTA-award-winning Irish documentary and feature film film director.[3][4][5][6] He directed Dara Beag File Pohail in 2004, Ri an Fhocail in 2007,[7] Lón sa Spéir/Men at Lunch in 2012, Mise Raiftearaí an Fíodóir Focal/I am Raftery, The Weaver of Words, written by Tadhg Mac Dhonnagáin in 2013,[8] Crash and Burn (about racing driver Tommy Byrne) in 2016 and Poc na nGael/Puck of the Irish in 2017.[9][3][1][5][10] His brother is producer Eamonn Ó Cualáin.[11]

He is a native of Loch Con Aortha, Cill Chiaráin .
