  • Saint Michael's Castle, constructed in 17971801 as a residence for Emperor Paul I
  • Old Michael Palace, constructed in 18191825, a Neoclassical palace of Grand Duke Michael Pavlovich of Russia, designed by Carlo Rossi, currently housing the State Russian Museum since 1895
  • New Michael Palace, constructed in 18571861, also known as New Michael Place, an eclectic palace on the Palace Embankment, designed by Andrei Shtakenschneider for Grand Duke Mikhail Nikolayevich of Russia
