Moranopteris aphelolepis is a species of grammitid fern in the Polypodiaceae family. It is endemic to the Andes Mountains, in Colombia, Ecuador and Bolivia. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
