Michelle Scutt (born Probert on 17 June 1960) is a former British Olympic athlete. Competing for Wales at the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, Australia, she won a silver medal in the 400 metres, behind Australia's Raelene Boyle.
Scutt won a bronze medal in the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, running the third leg of the 4 × 400 m relay. She was Welsh champion at 100 m (1978–1982), 200 m (1978, 1980–1982) and 400 m (1979 and 1984). She competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles in the 400 m and 4 X 400 m relay,[1] reaching the semi-final round.[2] Her personal best time in the 400m was 50.63 which she ran in Cwmbran in 1982, making her the 6th fastest Briton at the distance (as of January 2017).
