Michał Jurecki (born 27 October 1984) is a Polish handball player, a member of Poland national handball team and Polish club Vive Targi Kielce, a participant of the Olympic Games (2008, 2016), silver and bronze medalist of World Championship, winner of Champions League, five-time Polish Champion.

Personal life

He has two brothers, Bartosz who is also handball player and Marcin. In 2007 Michał married to Joanna. They have daughter Oliwia, born on September 6, 2007.[1] In 2015 his wife gave birth to their second daughter named Julia.[2]

Career

He received a silver medal with the Polish team at the 2007 World Men's Handball Championship and a bronze medal at the 2009 World Men's Handball Championship in Croatia. He participated at the 2008 Summer Olympics, where Poland finished 5th. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio, Poland took 4th place. Currently he is playing for Vive Targi Kielce.[3][4] At 2016 European Championship he was awarded All Star Left back of the tournament.[5]
