Eureka Prizes

Established in 1990, the Australian Museum Eureka Prizes reward excellence in the fields of research & innovation, leadership, science engagement and school science. Through a unique partnership with Australia’s leading scientific institutions, universities, state and federal government and corporations, the Eureka Prizes raise the profile of science in the community by celebrating outstanding achievements in Australian science.

Prizes

Each prize is judged by a panel of eminent and qualified individuals, whose contribution of expertise and time helps support the credibility of the Eureka Prizes. In 2017, 15 prizes worth a total of $150,000 were awarded across 4 categories.[1]
