Meenamasathile Sooryan (lit. Midsummer Rain)[1] is a 1986 Indian Malayalam language film, directed by Lenin Rajendran and produced by CG Bhaskaran. It is based on the Niranjana novel Chirasmarane (1955) The film stars Shobhana, Venu Nagavally, Murali and Vijay Menon in lead roles. The film had musical score by MB Sreenivasan.[2][3]
